 Sandlapper's Vision

Sandlapper will prepare every student academically, socially, and emotionally to be creative leaders in a global society.

Greetings Sandlapper Families,

As you may know, my name is Whitney Prowell ("Dr. Prowell") and I am the new principal of Sandlapper Elementary. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful community of students, staff, and families. I look forward to working with all of you to continue providing a high-quality education for our students. I am committed to open communication and collaboration with families, and I encourage you to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. Together, we can ensure that our students receive the best education possible. Thank you for entrusting your children to our school. I look forward to meeting and working with each and every one of you.

One Proud Principal,
Dr. Prowell
Before we donate the Lost and Found items, we are asking parents to claim their children's belongings.  All Lost and Found items will be donated on February 1st.
Donation Request
If your child has outgrown their clothes, please consider donating your clothes (shirts, shorts, pants, etc) to Sandlapper’s Health Room. Frequently, accidents occur at school requiring a change of clothes. For those who have received clothing from the health room, please wash the clothes and return them so we can have clothes when another child needs them.
Parents of kindergarten students, you provided clothing at the beginning of the year. The clothing provided at the beginning of the year may not fit your child now and may not be appropriate for cooler weather. Please send in clothing that will fit your child during this season.

Directory Information in Parent Portal
Some of you may have received an email from Richland Two regarding your student's directory information. If you initially chose the option to not allow Richland Two to share certain information, such as name and/or photo this means that we at Sandlapper are also not able to include your child in any publications including but not limited to our yearbook, class pictures, award/promotion programs, Family Night celebrations, honor rolls, etc. If you would like to change your student's choice so we can include your child(ren) in publications, such as the yearbook, watch the video below.
